Medical Assistant (MA) Training Program – Information Session

Apply for the Medical Assistant Intern Program to gain the knowledge, skills, and certification you need to become a Medical Assistant —all in one place! This is a paid training program, so participants will receive compensation while completing their coursework and clinical training.

Program Details
The Medical Assistant Intern Program will take approximately five months to complete. Participants are required to complete 12 weeks of online classes, followed by 300 hours of hands-on clinical training.

Program Cost
There is no cost to participate in the Medical Assistant Intern Program outside of providing your own stethoscope and transportation! Participants will complete their coursework in one of our on-site learning centers and receive all hands-on clinical training at St. Clair Health facilities.

Program Requirements
Participants must be a high school graduate or equivalent. You should have a willingness to learn and desire to take on the Medical Assistant role. Following graduation from the program there is a 2 year commitment to work as a Medical Assistant in one of the St. Clair Medical Group practices.
