Baby Basics (A Virtual Class)

Learn the basics of taking care of your new baby.   From swaddling to bathing to what to expect those first few weeks, Baby Basics will cover it all.   You’ll have the opportunity to ask your instructor questions and see live demonstrations in this class.

This class is hosted live by a childbirth educator.

Registration is free and includes 2 people joining from the same device.

Introduction to Breastfeeding (In Person)

We are excited to offer this session of Introduction to Breastfeeding IN PERSON at our Outpatient Center on Oxford Drive.  Please wear a mask.   Seating is limited in an effort to promote social distancing.  To keep our attendee count accurate due to current capacity limitations, please RSVP for two if you plan on bringing a support person.  Partners are both welcome and encouraged to attend.

Growing and Changing- with a Grown-up

This course is geared toward young women who are experiencing or entering puberty. We encourage the young woman to attend the course with an adult support person of their choosing. Discussion in this class focus on puberty, self-esteem, skin care, and communication during these transformative years.  Masks are required.

Currently offered in a virtual format via Zoom

Baby Steps is meets twice monthly via Zoom.   Each group is facilitated by a mental health nurse and a nurse from the Family Birth Center.  Baby Steps is for any parent or expectant parent experiencing (or wanting to learn more about) signs or symptoms of perinatal mood disorders including anxiety and depression.   Please join us for support and education.   Registration is not required but allows us to add you to our mailing list.  Please e-mail [email protected] for more information.
