Hot flash


Sudden feeling of warmth, usually most intense over the face, neck, and chest, and profuse sweating, commonly due to menopause.

Self-care

Self-care includes avoiding triggers, such as spicy foods, caffeine, and alcohol. Dressing in lightweight, removable layers and losing weight may also help.
