Narcissistic personality disorder

A disorder in which a person has an inflated sense of self-importance.


Narcissistic personality disorder is marked by an excessive need for admiration and disregard for others' feelings.


Symptoms also include an inability to handle any criticism and a sense of entitlement.


The disorder can't be self-diagnosed; it needs a professional to diagnose. Treatment involves talk therapy.
