Insomnia

Persistent problems falling or staying asleep or both.

Overview

Symptoms

Symptoms may include difficulty falling or staying asleep and not feeling well-rested after a night's sleep.

Treatments

Improving sleep habits, using behavior therapies, or identifying and treating underlying causes is safer and more effective than sleeping pills.
