Any disease of the joints.

Any disease of the joints, where two or more bones come together.

Arthropathy is the medical name for diseases that affect the joints, such as arthritis. It's important to manage arthropathy, because the body needs healthy joints to move well.

Arthropathy symptoms vary depending on the type of joint disease that is involved. Symptoms may include joint pain, stiffness, swelling and loss of motion.

Arthropathy treatment aims to ease symptoms and prevent more joint damage. Depending on the type of joint disease and symptoms a person has, options may include medicine, physical therapy or surgery.
