St. Clair Hospital’s medical and surgical pediatric unit is designed for children, newborn through young adulthood.
Committed to delivering family-centered pediatric care, our philosophy supports the physical, emotional, social and developmental needs of children and their families. Parents may visit their child at any time and arrangements can be made to accommodate overnight visitation when necessary.
If a child needs to be admitted, parents and child are welcome to tour the Pediatric Unit prior to admission to become familiar with the Hospital environment and meet the staff.
24-Hour Pediatrician Coverage
A board-certified pediatrician is on-site at St. Clair Hospital 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week. Our pediatricians work closely with the patient’s primary care physician to provide continuity of care to newborns, emergency patients and inpatients.
