St. Clair Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our PHP and IOP outpatient programs are designed to provide an alternative to inpatient treatment for adults with acute psychiatric illness. In addition to regular appointments with a psychiatrist, both programs offer a group approach to treatment, including psychotherapy, expressive therapy, and group therapy focusing on problem solving, relapse prevention, assertiveness training, community living, lifestyle skills, medication education and stress management.

Mental Health Consultation-Liaison Program
Comprehensive evaluation services are available for patients in our Emergency Department who are identified as needing psychiatric care or other crisis intervention. The Mental Health Consultation-Liaison Program includes psychiatrists and specially-trained nurses who also provide patient-centered consultations throughout the Hospital.
