Q: What sparked your interest to focus in obstetrics and gynecology?
A: Developing longitudinal patient relationships and the unique joy of bringing a new life into the world. I enjoy operating and the technical nature of this aspect of my job as well as the mixture of office/surgery/obstetrics.

Q: Who was your role model growing up and encouraged you to follow your dreams?
A: My mom – I grew up among a family of strong women with my mom, grandmother, aunt, and sister by my side.  My mom was a single working mother and she inspired me to follow my dreams and is still supporting me every day in everything that I do.

Q:What’s you favorite thing about the city of Pittsburgh?
A: I love everything! I am a born and raised Pittsburgher who never lived anywhere else.  I love the people, the food, the activities (arts/theater/museums/etc.) and of course the sports!  I am a huge Pittsburgh sports fan.

Q: What’s your favorite food?
A: Italian food
