Q: What sparked your interest to focus in this particular service line?
A: The brain is the only organ that studies itself.

Q: What makes you excited to teach residents?
A: It is an honor to participate in the formative years of someone’s clinical career.

Q: Who was your role model growing up and helped you along the way to get to where you are today?
A: My parents, as their escape from Eastern Europe has always been an impactful lesson in patience and perseverance.  And definitely Sherlock Holmes.

Q: What is your favorite Pittsburgh sports team and why?
A: Pittsburgh Penguins.  Crosby’s work ethic is almost superhuman.
