Behavioral and mental health problems can happen to any person, regardless of his or her age, gender, race, or income. Mental illness is a disorder of the brain and, like other disorders that affect organs, is not the result of a personal weakness, lack of character or poor parenting.

For more than 25 years, St. Clair Hospital has provided comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for persons with mental illness. The Psychiatry and Mental Health Services program offers a safe compassionate treatment environment where patients can understand their illness and begin the recovery process.
