Elective Surgeries & Procedures

Thanks to social distancing measures in our community, our region has succeeded in ‘flattening the curve’.  That lowers the risk that hospitals could be overwhelmed by a surge of coronavirus patients in need of hospitalization.  Accordingly, on April 27th, the Pennsylvania Secretary of Health issued guidance that hospitals may resume all medically necessary care.

In accordance with guidelines from the CDC, Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Allegheny County Health Department, St. Clair Hospital has resumed all elective testing and diagnostic procedures at St. Clair Hospital and the St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Center – Village Square. Beginning Monday, May 11, elective surgeries will resume. Your physician office will contact you in regard to scheduling or rescheduling your elective surgery.

Temporary changes to walk-in (Lab, X-Ray, and EKG) services are still in effect. Click here to view the hours of operation for each location.

Rest assured, upgraded social distancing measures are in place for continued patient safety. For more information on how St. Clair Hospital is Maintaining a Safe Environment, please click here.
