St. Clair Hospital excels in treating heart attack victims with interventional procedures with outcomes that meet or exceed national averages.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. and it’s important to learn about your heart to help prevent future health issues. St. Clair Health is committed to providing expert cardiovascular services to our patients. Our cardiologists prevent and treat all elements of cardiovascular diseases—abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias), aorta disease, congenital heart disease, deep vein thrombosis, heart attacks, heart failure, heart muscle disease, valvular diseases and more. Our highly skilled professionals have, in fact, helped St. Clair achieve industry-leading treatment times for heart attack victims arriving at our Emergency Department.

Our cardiologists and cardiac surgeons are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide scheduled and emergency cardiac care, seamlessly delivered with St. Clair’s longtime reputation for quality, compassionate, personalized care. As an added benefit, we offer our open heart surgery patients the opportunity to remain in the same room throughout their post-surgical recover period. This “one stop post-op” approach reduces stress on patients and their families.
