Young girls entering middle school are confronted with many experiences and challenges during the transition from childhood to adolescence. This second Mothers and Daughters program equips young girls with knowledge and skills necessary to differentiate between accurate information and fallacies. Topics include male and female sexual anatomy, inappropriate touching, healthy friendships, crushes, protecting your body and self-image, spotting red flags and e-dangers and texting. Emphasis is on respectful peer relationships and providing skills needed to choose healthy behaviors. For additional information, call 412-942-5877.
