Fit for Two
Fit for Two is a nutrition and fitness support group designed to support women to make the lifestyle changes needed to improve the quality of life for themselves and their families. Fit for Two provides the building blocks to increase awareness of healthy lifestyles, adoption of healthy eating habits, and promotion of physical activity. Each program will include mindful breathing and relaxation exercises, as well as appropriate exercises during pregnancy. Spouses and family members are invited to attend.
Fit for Two provides the tools and strategies to:
Manage pregnancy weight
Reduce risks of pregnancy complications
Improve neonatal outcomes
Promote healthy family lifestyles
This group will meet the fourth Monday of each month. The initial visit is scheduled from 6:00 to 7:30 PM and subsequent follow-up visits are scheduled from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Registration is required. If there are any additional questions, please call 412.942.5877.
