St. Clair Health Corporation (SCHC) provides financial assistance to low-income, uninsured, under-insured, and indigent individuals who are unable to meet their patient financial responsibility for medically necessary health care.
If you are having difficulty paying your bill, you can apply for our Financial Assistance Program. Available assistance, including free care, is determined by the size of your family and total annual estimated family income compared to the federal poverty level guidelines. Applications received with the requested supporting documents will be reviewed promptly, with determinations made within 15 days. Free care will be effective for six months from the approval date.
