Get to Know Your Radiologist

Q: What sparked your interest to focus in Diagnostic and Vascular Interventional Radiology?
A: I like the minimally invasive nature, that you can accomplish complex treatments with just a knick in the skin.

Q: What’s your most memorable story from a patient?
A: A patient’s heartfelt thank you always means the world to me. It is a special privilege to help another human in a meaningful way during their time of need. When they acknowledge this with a thank you, I feel our souls connect at a higher level for just a brief moment. It makes all the sacrifices worth it!

Q: What are some of your hobbies outside of the work environment?
A: Gardening, cooking, working out, playing with my dogs and my boisterous, fun-loving nephew.

Q: What’s your favorite thing about the city of Pittsburgh?
A: The three rivers – the waterways coursing through a city are beautiful and elegant.
