A sampling of our most significant accomplishments:
Leapfrog Groups Hospital Safety - St. Clair has received its eighth straight 'A' grade in hospital safety
Hospital Safety Scores are assigned to more than 2,500 hospitals across the nation twice annually. The Hospital Safety Score is becoming the gold standard measure of patient safety. The Hospital Safety Score uses national performance measures from the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and the American Hospital Association’s Annual Survey and Health Information Technology Supplement.

CareChex® Quality Award - St. Clair is recognized as Number 1 in the Pittsburgh market for Medical Excellence in Overall Hospital Care (2015 and 2016).
CareChex is a division of Comparion Medical Analytics — one of the nation's largest privately-held healthcare information services companies. Unlike other publicly available quality ratings, CareChex provides a composite evaluation of all components of medical quality including process of care, outcomes of care, and patient experiences.
