Endoscopy
Most procedures are performed Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Heart Center Testing
There are various cardiac examinations to test your heart condition such as: EKG or electrocardiograms, Exercise Stress Testing, and Echocardiograms. St.Clair Hospital also offers a LabLink service to provide you with all your laboratory needs.

Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
St. Clair’s 10-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) provides therapy programs to help patients reach the maximum independence in living skills, mobility, and communication.

Located on the fifth floor of the hospital, the IRU provides acute, individualized rehabilitative services for patients with conditions such as stroke, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, burns, fractures, and neurological disorders. The average length of stay for patients is 12 to 14 days.

Laboratory Services
St. Clair Hospital’s Laboratory includes a full range of clinical testing and a physician’s order is required for most tests. Hours of operation for outpatients are Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to Noon.

St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Services
St. Clair Hospital offers a full spectrum of outpatient services to patients and their families. Most services require a physician’s order and, upon arrive at the hospital, patients should register at the Outpatient Registration area located on the third floor.

Outpatient Surgical Services
The Outpatient Surgery Unit, located on the Hospital’s third floor, offers surgical procedures using local, regional, and general anesthesia, as well as IV sedation.

The hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Physical Therapy
Evaluation and treatments include exercise, balance training, general conditioning, and pain relief. Hours of operation are Monday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Part of the Center for Motion Recovery.

Respiratory Care/Respiratory Therapy
Services offered on an outpatient basis include pulmonary function testing, pulmonary stress testing, arterial blood gasses (ABGs), IPPB, Spontaneous Aerosol, and other testing, as part of the Center for Pulmonary Health. Testing is available Monday through Friday and appointments are necessary.

Sleep Disorders Center
Part of the Center for Pulmonary Health, the Sleep Disorders Center provides diagnosis and treatment of a variety of sleep-related disorders. A physician’s order is required for all procedures.
