Tweens (ages 11 - 13) and Teens (ages 14-17) are confronted with many new experiences and life choices that create unique challenges during the transition from childhood to adolescence. This program helps equip young girls with the skills necessary to differentiate between accurate and inaccurate information. Teens and tweens wil explore sexuality from biological, psychological, and social perspectives and be encouraged to become aware of their own sexual values and future life goals. Topics addressed include: teenage sexuality, sexual myths, abstinence, pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted diseases, risks and prevention, sexual health care, and peer pressure.
