Prostate Cancer Screenings
Registration required
Location: St. Clair Hospital Dunlap Conference Center
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

St. Clair Hospital is conducting its annual free prostate screenings for men ages 55 and older.  Participants must pre-register and attend an educational seminar on prostate cancer and screenings at 5:30 pm on Thursday, October 12 at St. Clair Hospital’s main campus in Mt. Lebanon. Following the presentation, personnel from the Hospital’s Laboratory will collect a blood sample from interested participants to obtain PSA (prostate-specific antigen) levels.

Screening will be conducted between 5:30 - 6 p.m. Thursday, October 19 at the St. Clair Hospital Outpatient Center at Village Square Urgent Care, Suite 100, 2000 Oxford Drive, Bethel Park, PA.  Participants will have their PSA levels reviewed with them, a physical screening process, and any further recommendations by a healthcare provider.

The number screening is limited and participants will be accepted on a first-call, first-served basis. Pre-registration for the seminar and screening is required by Thursday, September 28. For more information or additional questions, please call 412.942.5082.

Cancer Support Group
Location: St. Clair Hospital - Please check in at the Fourth Floor Information Desk for exact room location
Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Cost: Free

This group is open to cancer survivors and their significant others, and is offered in cooperation with the Cancer Caring Center.  The group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. and is facilitated by an oncology nurse.  Registration is not required.  For addition information, call 412.942.5082.

Mental Health Support Group
Registration required
Location: Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park
Time: 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Cost: Free

This support group is open to anyone in the community who needs support for themselves or loved ones who are struggling with mental illness.  Participants are encouraged to bring family members and loved ones. For more information, please call 412.942.4800.
