When a child is ill, it is an anxious stressful time for the entire family. That is why St. Clair Hospital is committed to delivering family centered pediatric care.

Our Pediatric Unit is small and friendly. Our rooms are designed for the comfort of children and families. Accommodations are available for at least one parent to stay at the child's bedside at all times.

The nursing staff is specially trained to provide comprehensive pediatric nursing care to meet the unique physical, emotional and developmental needs of each child.

To assure your child will recieve quality care, St. Clair Hospital has a pediatrician present 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our "in-house" pediatrician collaborates with both Emergency Department personnel and each child's primary care physician to provide individualized care from admission through discharge.

St. Clair Hospital's Pediatric Unit spans a broad spectrum of age groups including infants, children ages 1 - 12, and adolescents from 13 - 18.
