It is important that women receive routine examinations of their reproductive systems-whether they are in their child-bearing or post-menopausal years. If you need gynecological surgery and require an inpatient stay, you will stay in a private room on the Gynecology Unit. You will be cared for by nurses who are specially trained to care for you following your surgery and support your family members.

If you need to seek gynecological emergency services at St. Clair Hospital's Emergency Department, a board-certified gynecologist is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
