St. Clair’s Surgical Services Department performs a wide-range of operative procedures including:
Located on the Hospital’s third floor, the Surgical Department features 12 fully equipped operating rooms, including one specialized cystoscopy room. Currently, 150 surgeons representing over 15 specialties use St. Clair’s surgical services.
Other members of the St. Clair Hospital Surgical Team include registered nurses, surgical technologists, anesthesiologists, and certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), perfusionists, sterile processing technicians, certified nursing assistants, secretaries and volunteers.
The Mt. Lebanon Surgical Center specializes in eye surgery -- such as cataracts, eyelid surgery and lesions – cosmetic plastic surgery – such as facelifts and nose surgery – and pain management services.
Conveniently located in the St. Clair Professional Office Building adjacent to the hospital, the Mt. Lebanon Surgical Center has highly skilled opthalmologists, plastic surgeons, and anesthesiologists, who manage the pain services.
