The St. Clair Hospital Infusion Center provides individualized care and convenience for outpatients requiring a variety of services, some of which include:

Administration of:

IV Solutions
Antibiotics and other medications
Chemotherapy
Blood/Blood products
Hydration for Hyperemesis
Subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
Skin Tests
First dose of Home Infusion Services

Insertion of:

PICC and Mid-line catheters

Maintenance and Repair of:

IV Devices
Tunneled IV Devices

Obtaining Specimens for Designated Studies, such as:

TSH
ACTH
Water Deprivation Test

Assisting with procedures, such as:

Insertion of Central Lines
Bone Marrow
Lumbar Puncture
Thoracentesis, Paracentesis
Liver Biopsy
Thyroid Biopsy

Declotting of Central IV and Dialysis Catheters

Therapeutic Phlebotomy

FAXED orders require a signed physician order. Physicians may choose to sign the order in Medical Records or mail to:

Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
