Fifty years ago, residents of the fast-growing South Hills neighborhoods came together with a common purpose: to raise funding for, and eventually open, a full-service hospital located in their community that could care for their emergencies and meet their everyday healthcare needs.
Over the years, that Hospital has continued to remain soley focused on the community that built and governs it. Adding services when a need was identified, collaborating with other healthcare organizations when it was logical to do so, and setting the standard for what it means to be a community hospital in a time of industry uncertainty.
Today, St. Clair Hospital has grown into a powerful force for healing in our community. They key to St. Clair Hospital's successes are its employees. They are an exceptional group of people who possess a commitment to hard work, and have a passion for the patients, the Hospital and the community. Striving to continually strengthen this important group of individuals is an organizational priority and an absolute necessity to meet the current and future health care needs of our community.
