St. Clair Hospital Golf Classic and Gala

St. Clair Hospital Golf Classic & Gala is an annual event that helps to raise awareness and funds for a designated area of the Hospital each year.  Over the past 13 years, the Golf Classic & Gala has raised more than $1 million that benefited projects, such as the Heart Center Fund, the Orthopedic Fund, “Building on Success” Capital Campaign Fund, the Emergency Department Expansion Fund and in 2010 it supported the construction of three new operating rooms.

The Gala features wonderful entertainment. Each year the silent auction expands and is filled with tickets to sporting events, trips, fine wine, golf packages, pampering baskets, autographed items from sports celebrities, fine jewelry and art pieces.

Jack Piatt, a member of the board of directors at St. Clair Hospital, and his
wife, Kathleen, and state Rep. Matthew H. Smith (42nd, Mt. Lebanon) and
his wife, Eileen, are four of the 600 guests who attended the recent St. Clair
Hospital Foundation Gala, which, along with the Golf Classic the following
day at Valley Brook Country Club in Peters Townships, benefitted the
construction of three new operating rooms at St. Clair Hospital.
