Physical Therapy
The goal of physical therapy is to return patients to their optimum level of function and mobilization.
St. Clair Hospital’s Newly Renovated Physical Therapy Department offers comprehensive rehabilitation services to inpatients and outpatients.
Licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants focus their treatment on restoring patients’ loss of motion, strength and function.
Physical Therapy works as a treatment for existing problems and prevention of complications. The goal is to return patients to their optimum level of function through exercise, walking therapy, heat and cold treatments, and tissue mobilization.

Physical Therapists evaluate each patient and design a treatment program based upon the individual’s particular needs. Physical Therapy can help with patient diagnoses, including stroke, joint replacement, fractures, sprains/strains, wounds, amputation, heart attack, congestive heart failure, pulmonary problems, cancer and other musculoskeletal injuries.
