Excellence in Cancer Care
St. Clair Hospital’s Cancer Care Center is accredited as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center with Commendation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. This is the highest rating that can be achieved by a community hospital. Our outreach focuses on early detection via annual free screenings and education. Continuous improvement of our cancer services has enabled us to maintain the high standards expected by our patients.
Since its inception, St. Clair Hospital’s cancer program has demonstrated impressive survival rates. The relative five-year survival rate for St. Clair Hospital patients diagnosed with invasive cancer (for six of the most common cancers), exceeds both national and state averages (click here to view St. Clair Hospital's 2011 Cancer Program Annual Report).
