Ranked among the 100 Top Hospitals in the nation, St. Clair is a 328-bed independent, acute care facility that provides advanced, high quality health care to more than 480,000 residents of southwestern Pennsylvania. With 550 physicians and 2,200 employees, St. Clair Hospital is the largest employer in Pittsburgh’s South Hills.
Providing virtually every health care service that residents may need throughout their lives, the Hospital is focused on continuously enhancing its services and technologies to ensure that the community’s health needs are met. The Hospital offers a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient services, including advanced cardiovascular services; specialized care for women, children and infants; diabetes treatment; oncology services; emergency care; surgical services; psychiatry and mental health services; and respiratory/pulmonary care.
With its main campus in Mt. Lebanon, the Hospital also offers health care services at three outpatient centers, including a diagnostic center located at Village Square in Bethel Park. A new Outpatient Center is under construction in Peters Township with an expected completion date in the Spring of 2013.
St. Clair Hospital is home to the region’s largest Emergency Department, with more than 60,000 patient visits per year. The ER is ranked in the top one percent nationwide in patient satisfaction.
