Where do I park?

• For individuals picking up a discharged patient, parking is available along the Hospital’s entrance off Bower Hill Road.  Please wait to pull your vehicle into the driveway until the patient is in the lobby.
• Visitors are encouraged to use the Hospital’s parking garage, located at the rear of the Hospital. Access to the parking garage is available from North Wren Drive, Segar Road or the main entrance off Bower Hill Road. A token for $2 must be purchased to exit this lot.
• Limited parking is also available in the open air lot at the Hospital’s main entrance off Bower Hill Road. A token for $2 must be purchased to exit this lot.
• Visitors may briefly stop to pick up or discharge a passenger at the main entrance or the rear entrance.
• The Emergency Department offers patients and vistors to the ER free 24-hour-a-day valet service.
• Speed limit is 5 miles per hour on Hospital property.
• St. Clair Hospital Police will issue citations to those who violate parking and traffic regulations, such as parking in a handicapped area, parking in fire zones, or parking on sidewalks.

Parking Tokens

Parking tokens are necessary to exit the parking garages and lots. Tokens can be purchased for $2 a piece at the following locations:

• Token vending machines in the Fourth Floor lobby and at the First Floor exit of the Professional Office Building
• First Floor Welcome Center
• Fourth Floor Welcome Center
• Inpatient Cashier (Fourth Floor)
• Patient Registration (Third Floor)

Special Parking Services

Valet parking is available at the entrance of the Professional Office Building off North Wren Drive (just before the entrance to the parking garage), and at the main entrance off Bower Hill Road. Drive your car to either entrance and tell the attendant you would like to have your car valet parked.

Cost: $4 ($2 for handicapped drivers)

Directions

From Downtown Pittsburgh

• Cross the Fort Pitt Bridge and travel through the Fort Pitt Tunnels. 
• Take the Banksville Road/US-19 South exit (5A) toward US-19 Truck South/PA-51 South/Uniontown. 
• Merge onto US-19 South toward Mt. Lebanon. 
• Turn right onto Beverly Road/US-19. 
• Turn left onto US-19/Cochran Road (Yellow Belt). 
• Turn right onto Bower Hill Road. St. Clair Hospital will be on the right at 1000 Bower Hill Road.

From Pittsburgh International Airport I-376

• Travel toward Downtown Pittsburgh on I-376 (Parkway West). 
• Take exit 65 toward PA-50 West/Carnegie.
• Stay straight and go onto Lydia Street. 
• Turn left onto Washington Avenue/PA-50 (Yellow Belt).
• Turn left onto Hope Hollow Road (Yellow Belt).
• Stay straight to go onto Swallow Hill Road. 
• Turn left onto Segar Road.
• Turn right onto Bower Hill Road. St. Clair Hospital will be on the right at 1000 Bower Hill Road.

South on I-79 – from Crafton

• Take exit 55 (Kirwin Heights/Heidelberg).
• Turn right at traffic light onto PA-50/Washington Pike.
• Enter the left lane. 
• At .5 miles, turn left onto Vanadium Road (across from Peter's Place).   
• Turn left onto Bower Hill Road (Orange Belt). 
• St. Clair Hospital will be on the left at 1000 Bower Hill Road.

North on I-79 – from Washington

• Take Exit 54 toward PA-50 Bridgeville. 
• Keep right at the fork onto PA-50 East/Millers Run Road.
• Turn left onto PA-50/Washington Pike; continue to follow PA-50. 
• Turn right onto Bower Hill Road (Orange Belt). 
• Continue to follow Bower Hill Road.
• St. Clair Hospital will be on the left at 1000 Bower Hill Road.

South – from Century III area

• Take Route 51 North toward Pittsburgh. 
• At the cloverleaf exit to Curry Hollow Road/Lebanon Church Road (Yellow Belt). 
• Turn right onto Curry Hollow Road, follow Yellow Belt.
• Turn right onto Library Road/Route 88.
• Turn left onto Connor Road. 
• Connor Road becomes Gilkeson Road. 
• Turn slight right onto Cedar Boulevard.  
• Turn left onto Lindendale Drive. 
• Turn left onto Greenhurst Drive. 
• Turn left onto Bower Hill Road. St. Clair Hospital will be on the right at 1000 Bower Hill Road.

South – Brentwood, Carrick, Castle Shannon

• From Route 51 take Brownsville Road south to Whitehall.
• Stay straight onto Baptist Road.
• Turn right onto Grove Road at Caste Village.
• Turn left onto Library Road/ Route 88.
• Turn right onto Castle Shannon Boulevard and follow to Scott Road. 
• Continue on Scott Road to Route 19-South, Washington Road. 
• Turn left onto Washington Road to Mt. Lebanon.
• Turn right onto Bower Hill Road (near St. Bernard Church).
• St. Clair Hospital will be on the right at 1000 Bower Hill Road.

South – from South Park and Library

• Head North on Route 88/Library Road toward Pittsburgh. 
• Turn left onto Connor Road (Yellow Belt). 
• Connor Road becomes Gilkeson Road. 
• Turn slight right onto Cedar Boulevard. 
• Turn left onto Lindendale Drive. 
• Turn left on Greenhurst Drive. 
• Turn left onto Bower Hill Road. St. Clair Hospital will be on the right at 1000 Bower Hill Road.
